Competitive 4s leagues:

The CAVBA runs Men's, Women's, and Coed leagues. The Men's and Women's divisions will begin play at 6pm on Thursday evenings and the Coed division will begin immediately after the Men's and Women's games are completed (about 7:00pm). Since only 2 Men's teams registered for the "lower" division, all men's teams are in one league. Since only 2 Women's teams registered for the "upper" division, all women's teams will be in one league. The Coed league is broken into an "upper" and a "lower" division. Matches for all leagues will consist of 2 out of 3 games. The first 2 games will be to 21 points and the third game (if necessary) will be to 15. Playoff seeding will be determined by Match Win Percentage; the tie-breaker will be "Head to Head", followed by Game Win Percentage. If the league games are cancelled due to weather, those games will not be made up. All players must be at least 16 years old. Any players below 18 must have a Junior Waiver on file: (Word version)

Each week, your Men's or Women's team will be responsible for having at least one player at the park by 5:45pm to set up your net. For every week that your team does not supply a "set up" person, your team will lose part of its net deposit ($10). Your "set up" person MUST sign in when they arrive in order for your team to get credit for their participation. Coed teams are responsible for breaking down and putting away nets systems. Teams that do not help put away nets will be subject to possible league suspension. The CAVBA is a member driven organization and we need the support of all of the members.

Jacksonville 6's Sand League

Jacksonville's "Foxwood Golf Club" has new ownership and they have changed the name to "Southern Oaks Country Club." "Southern Oaks" Sand Volleyball League will start May 4th. The format is coed sixes. The play is usually "B" level = typically a "rec" team, 2 or 3 "B" teams, and a couple of "BB" teams. The league games will be each Wednesday night and last for ten weeks.
