[All_CAVBA] Charity 3 on 3 vball tournament, PLEASE PLAY.

Hello All,
   I am running a charity 3 on 3 volleyball tournament on Sunday July 12 at Murray Park in Little Rock, AR to raise money for the Betty Jo Stephens Women's Athletics Fund at UALR. I was hoping that each of you could play and spread the word to everyone you know. There will be a recreational division for people who are not really volleyball players, but want to come out and see what it is all about. This means you can invite your friends, family, and coworkers to come out and spend the day at the park. There will also be a competitive, power, and juniors divisions for those of you who know the game. 

   We will be providing free food, water, and sports drinks (and possibly goody bags from Colton's Steakhouse) for all participants, plus there will be prizes for the winners of each division (money for the power division). It will be $30 per team for the recreational & juniors divisions and $50 per team for the competitive & power divisions (plus everyone in each division has to be registered with AVPNext, which costs $10 if done online, but is good for the whole calendar year).   If you would like to play, but don't have a team, send me your contact information and what division you are interested in and I'll post it to the website (http://www.SweetSets.com) & help you find a team. All of the UALR varsity players are going to be playing in this tournament, but they need guys for their teams. If you are interested, send me your info so I can compile a list of possible teammates for them.

BETTY JO STEPHENS WOMEN'S ATHLETIC FUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT LITTLE ROCK

THE PURPOSE OF THE BETTY JO STEPHENS WOMEN'S ATHLETIC FUND SHALL BE TO FUND THE DAILY OPERATIONS AND EXPENSES FOR PARTICIPANTS IN WOMEN'S ATHLETICS WITHIN THE DEPARTIMENT OF ATHLETICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT LITTLE ROCK.

EACH SPRING, THE DEPARTIMENT OF ATHLETICS WILL RECOGNIZE A FEMALE STUDENT ATHLETE WITH THE BETTY JO STEPHENS WOMAN ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD. A PLAQUE WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE RECIPIENT AND WILL BE PAID FOR WITH THE FUNDS FROM THE BETTY JO STEPHENS WOMEN'S ATHLETIC FUND. THE AWARDED STUDENT-ATHLETE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE SENIOR WOMEN'S ADMINISTRATOR AND THE ATHLETICS AND SHALL MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA SET BY THE COMMITTEE:

PASSION FOR ATHLETICS
TENACIOUS COMPETITIVE NATURE
DESIRE FOR FAIR PLAY AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP
OUTSTANDING CITIZENSHIP
