Hello All,
I just wanted to give you an update about what's happening with Sweet Sets Volleyball lately, so here it goes... Well, the outdoor season has already started- we have played a few times in Murray Park and it's been great. We will be having King of the Hill, Queen of the Hill, and Prince/Princess of the Hill (Juniors) tournaments this SUNDAY (3/29/09). The earlier you register (online), the better! ...I will also be holding a clinic on Saturday (3/29/09) if anyone wants to brush up on their outdoor game before playing in the tournament (or if you know someone who wants to learn about playing outdoors). Hmmm... the website has been updated a bit- you can register, pre-pay, and buy some merchandise online if you're interested.
Additionally, starting in the near future, Sweet Sets Volleyball will be an official AVPNext promoter. This means that you will all be required to register with AVPNext ($10 per year) to participate in Sweet Sets Volleyball (starting AFTER this weekend's tournaments). This works out well for us all because AVPNext will provide insurance for the organization, provide some prizes, and will promote the organization through their website. This is an exciting time! ...and don't worry about the extra cost- I have decided to give everyone a $10 refund if they register for AVPNext and play in 2 Sweet Sets tournaments.
I'm sorry about the long email, but I wanted to keep you informed. Make sure to check out the entire 2009 schedule at http://www.Sweet Sets.com. I hope to see you all this weekend!
