Hello,
     I just wanted to remind everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to compete for a STATE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP! The AR State Outdoor Volleyball Championships are coming up and everyone can participate. The chance to compete for a State Championship is not something that comes along that often, so take advantage now. It will be something you remember (and brag about!) for years to come. Arkansas State Outdoor Volleyball Championships

The Arkansas State Outdoor Volleyball Championships will be held on October 17th and 18th at Murray Park in Little Rock. The men's, women's, and juniors' championships will be held on Saturday and the coed championships will be held on Sunday. Power (upper) & Competitive (lower) divisions will be available for all adult competition. All divisions will be doubles, played on grass short courts (8 meters x 8 meters). 
 
The championships are open to ALL competitors; no prior Sweet Sets participation is required. However, all participants must be registered with AVPNext (see link on http://www.SweetSets.com The tournament will consist of round robin pool play followed by single elimination playoffs. Winners of power divisions will earn cash prizes (amount is dependent upon the number of registered teams- minimum of $250 for 1st place & $125 for 2nd place with 10 teams registered- more $ for more teams!) and Sweet Sets, Wilson, & AVP merchandise. Winners of other divisions will receive Sweet Sets, Wilson, & AVP merchandise.
 
Lunch & drinks will be provided for all participants (cookout!). Additionally, door prizes will be awarded to lucky participants on both Saturday and Sunday. Please register as soon as you know you will be playing to help us better prepare (plus there is a discount if you pre-register and pre-pay).
