Hello everyone,
Some of you may or may not know about Freddie Bargiacchi’s brother Jon, but he has been in the ICU at St. Francis since Aug. 17th.  He was actually house sitting for me as we went to Florida , when the incident occurred. Doctors are unsure what may have happened the night he lost consciousness, but we do know that he aspirated for a minimum of 12hrs to a maximum of 24hrs.  Freddie found him after coming to check on him since he would not return phone calls. He is still unresponsive and we know that he does have significant brain damage.  Doctors can not tell them exactly what happened nor can they give them a definite outcome because at this point they just do not know.  
Freddie and I are throwing this volleyball tournament as a fundraiser for the family to deal with the significant cost of everything, including the hopeful recovery of such a young, great hearted friend of so many. If any of you have met the Bargiacchi’s, then you know what a great and loving family they are to so many people.
Attached is a copy of the registration form and liability form. There are all levels of play, including a rec. division that is all for fun (pretty much no rules, i.e. family reunion ball). It will be a great day of fun and hopefully sun and not be too hot. Volleyball, friends, and being right on the river, what else could you want? All of our contact info is on the form, please get them in ASAP. If you know anyone else that might be interested, please forward to them. We also truly appreciate everybody who is willing to help with this event, but the best help we can get is for people to sign up and play.
