The CAVBA is starting a Summer 6's leagues geared toward people new to volleyball. So if you have friends looking to get into volleyball please forward this to them, we would love to have them !!!

Here is the official information from the CAVBA website:

Recreational 6s league:

Beginning on May 18, 2010, the CAVBA will be sponsoring a
coed recreational
6 on 6 league on Tuesday evenings at Murray Park in Little
Rock. This
league will be focused on getting new players out and having
fun with
the CAVBA. The league will run for approximately 8 weeks and
the entire
season will cost only $80 per team. Each team will have at
least one
scheduled match per night, but will be allowed to stay around
and play
pickup ball after official games have ended. Help setting up
and taking
down nets will be greatly appreciated.

A team can play with a minimum of 3 players (at least 1 must
be a female)
and a maximum of 6 (if there are 5 or more players on the
court, at
least 2 must be female). Teams consisting of only female
players are
allowed. All players must be at least 16 years of age (those
under 18
must have a parental waiver signed). Teams will ref their own
matches
and keep their own score (call out the score before each
serve). League
champion will be determined either by playoff format or based
on regular
season record (depending on the number of teams
participating). You
can register a team by completing the registration form and
giving it
(and a check for $80 made out to "CAVBA") to a board member.
Mailing instructions are also included on the form. The
registration
deadline for the 6 on 6 recreational league is Monday May 10,
2010.
