[All_CAVBA] Upcoming tournaments and LEAGUES!!!

Hey everybody,

    I just wanted to remind each of you that we will be holding a King/Queen/Junior of the Hill tournament this Saturday (May 1, 2010) and a coed doubles tournament this Sunday (May 2, 2010). I hope you can all make it. These tourneys will be held on the grass in Murray Park in Little Rock, AR. The sooner you sign up, the easier it is for us to run the event. We will be offering cash prizes as well as Sweet Sets, Wilson, and AVP merchandise.  

   Update:  At our future Sweet Sets tourneys, Men's Power/Open will be held on sand while other divisions will be on grass.

   We will also be hosting a charity coed 3 on 3 tournament on Saturday May 15, 2010. This is to raise money for CARE for Animals of Little Rock. The Power division will play in the sand and the Competitive and Recreational divisions will play in the grass.

   Finally, I wanted to make you all aware that the Central Arkansas Volleyball Association will be holding competitive 4 on 4 grass leagues (Men's, Women's, Coed) on Thursday evenings beginning May 13, 2010 (registration due date is May 6) and a Recreational 6 on 6 coed league on Tuesday evenings beginning May 18 (registration due date is May 10).
