[All_CAVBA] 2010 Sweet Sets Schedule / Volley In The Rock

A) The 2010 Sweet Sets Outdoor Volleyball schedule has been posted at http://www.SweetSets.com. Our first events are the weekend of May 1 & 2. We will also be sponsoring a charity volleyball event for the Little Rock CARE for Animals on May 15 in conjunction with their Paws on the Pavement event. Please go to our website for more information about these and other events.

 B) The Little Rock Juniors Volleyball Club will be holding the Volley In The Rock tournament this weekend at the Little Rock Convention Center. They are looking for volunteers to help set up on Friday and staff various positions throughout the weekend. I am hoping that the members of the CAVBA will support this giant (14 courts) volleyball event. This is an excellent opportunity to show the community that we are helping support all volleyball in our area. Stop by the Convention Center on Friday (we're starting at 8:30am and will be going all day until it is finished) for a while and help us out. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Additionally, several current & past members of the CAVBA will be coaching at this event (my 18s team plays in the morning on Saturday and some time on Sunday), so come out and cheer us on- even if you can't volunteer.

C) Our next CAVBA tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 20 at the Jacksonville Community Center. Please go to http://www.CAVBA.org for more information (and to check out the recently re-designed website).

D) Miranda Lisko will be hosting a fundraisning tournament on April 3 at Murray Park. More information is available at http://www.CAVBA.org.
