[All_CAVBA] Leagues

Hello All,

     Thank you all for making the first week of league run RELATIVELY smoothly. There are a few things that need to be tweaked, but from now on, things should go smoothly. 

1) We had representatives from every team present to set up nets, which is great, but unfortunately some of those people didn't know exactly what they were expected to do.  If you don't know how to set nets up, please ask. If you have to get there early to learn how to set up a net, please do that. We had several people who ended up having to set up multiple nets; that's not fair.

2) Each week we will need 8 nets (4 men's & 4 women's). Clipboards & scoresheets will be available. After you set up a net, you can grab your clipboard & start warming up. If all of the clipboards haven't been taken, they will be randomly placed next to the courts. For coed, please look for your team name on the scoresheet to find your court.

3) There are still some players that need to sign the waiver(s)- things were hectic the first week, so we didn't push the issue, but please sign this upcoming week.

4) There were many questions about rules. Please review the Rule Clarifications listed on the "Leagues" page of http://www.CAVBA.org. If there are any questions, or suggestions, please feel free to contact a board member.

5) There have been people asking if we could play all 3 games every week and other people who are happy we are only playing 2 out of 3. If you have any feelings on this matter, please send me an email (Todd at SweetSets.com -please don't "respond to all"). If the majority of the responses request that we play all 3, then we will change the format so we play all 3 games.
